Aguero goal will be a blessing in disguise for years to come!

It's finished at Sunderland, Manchester United have done all they can, that Rooney goal was enough for the three points, Manchester City are still alive here, Balotelli.... Aguerooooooooo...... hits the post!

It could have been so different. Manchester United were on the verge of completing the great escape, with three minutes to go, Manchester City had to score twice to snatch the title from Manchester United and their dreams came true in blue. It was as painful as it gets for the United faithful, who watched their team devastatingly throw away an 8 point lead. Yet this could be the start of something very special for United.

Had United won the title, would Sir Alex have been able to convince the Glazers for more investment? Would Mancini have been offered a new 5 year deal? Arguably there are better valued and more respected managers across the world. It's possible that the panic button would have been struck with full force and Manchester City would have gone berserk in the transfer window.

Madness with Mancini is what comes to mind when I heard the news of a new 5 year deal. That's a lot for a man who won just one league title on goal difference. Of course they are the Champions and we have to respect that, but will the dice role up the right number for him every season? Mancini looked clueless on the touchline when Mackie completed a wonderful QPR counter attack to take them into the lead, only for some Arab cash to bail him out in the last few minutes.

Manchester United came back from the Munich air disaster. Sir Alex Ferguson has defeated Dalglish, Wenger, Mourinho and Ancelotti. I can see Mancini being added to that list in the near future and this might just be the start of another United dynasty. Forza Sir Alex!
